William Broms, Founding CEO

The principal for TRECOA has led aggressive asset investment sales and acquisition initiatives for major Global 1000 accounts throughout his career, including:

• Acquired a $100 million restaurant chain with 102 properties
• Orchestrated a $225 million sale-leaseback with a national health club
• Acquired a 37-property convenience store chain totaling $55 million
• Coordinated sales of multiple manufacturing facilities
• Orchestrated sale of a $330 million regional office headquarters

Executive Leadership

William Broms is the Founding CEO of TRECOA (The Real Estate Company of America), a full service real estate finance and advisory firm based in San Diego, CA. He established TRECOA to serve as a performance-driven real estate partner to a diverse clientele across small to large corporations and investors. Broms is able to effectively employ his technical understanding of capital markets and real estate to analyze financial data and create strategic real estate and asset structures to meet the financial needs of diverse organizations. Within TRECOA and throughout his professional career, Broms has maintained an aggressive, strategic approach to designing and executing real estate structures, securing financing and creating capital release strategies. Broms has direct and indirect experience in reviewing, underwriting and acquiring/disposing of more than $1 billion in real estate transactions across retail, industrial and office assets.

Prior to launching TRECOA, Broms served as the Director of Acquisitions for the largest public net leased retail REIT in the United States, where he partnered with top executives within Fortune 1000 accounts to provide comprehensive acquisition and strategic capital for financing LBO, recapitalizations, divestitures and developments through commercial real estate holdings. Previously, Broms was employed with a boutique real estate investment bank partnering with national corporations with industrial/office holdings in order to develop and execute full life cycle strategic real estate programs targeting financial position improvements. He sourced, established and developed critical relationships with CFOs, treasurers and senior executives from small to large corporations nationwide, as well as partnerships with domestic and global equity and lending sources.

Broms completed a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Regis University in Denver, Colorado and completed a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
